Charitable DonationsIt costs more than £3 million pounds every year to keep
the Northern Police Convalescent and Treatment centres open. Funding
is provided almost entirely by serving police officers with no assistance
from central or local government. Last year almost 3,500 officers were treated on a residential basis at the centres, and a further 400 received treatment on an outpatient basis. If you are a serving police officer who would like to begin contributing to the fund, please contact your payroll department who can arrange this for you. |

| If you are making a donation, please print-out and complete our gift aid declaration form and enclose it with your cheque. Gift Aid is one of the easiest ways to make your donation tax effective. The declaration simply states that as a taxpayer, you wish NPC&TC to get back from the Inland Revenue, tax paid on the donation. This doesn’t cost you a penny but means NPC&TC gets an extra 28 per cent on top of your donation. |
