Women’s health covers a vast area of lifetime changes and conditions from puberty to menopause and beyond. This incorporates the reproductive, hormone and urogynaecological systems.

At NPC&TC we are qualified physiotherapists who are interested in treating you as a ‘whole’ woman, understanding that focusing on an operation that you may be recovering from, or are contemplating having, will also affect you emotionally and physically.

During your stay in hospital you should have received help and advice, both before and after your operation, and have been given some guidelines and gentle exercises to help ease you back into a normal busy life. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

The physiotherapy service provided for the NPC&TC is committed to giving the best care to our Women Police Officers to ensure that they remain in the best possible health and to keep you fit for duty as well as for home.

Should you encounter any of the problems above or those of a similar nature we will do our utmost to help provide you with the information and care to cope and overcome whatever it is that is concerning you.
